Caroline is an Emmy Award-nominated television correspondent and news producer living in New York City. For the last decade, CMT has traveled around the world as a journalist covering the gamut of politics to entertainment, and working across a variety of mediums including live television, documentary, and print.
She recently helmed Verizon Media's flagship interview series Between You & Me on Apple TV and Roku. Guests of the long-form talkshow included Rumer Willis, the critically acclaimed actress and singer, author Jason Rezaian, the Washington Post journalist who spent 544 days in an Iranian prison, and Leah Daughtry, an author, activist and the only person to twice hold the position of DNC CEO. CMT also produced short documentaries for HuffPost/Verizon.
CMT was one of the original correspondents for HBO's Emmy Award-winning nightly news show, VICE News Tonight. From the field and in-studio, she covered, produced and broke news across a dynamic mix of subjects, including U.S. politics, international news, health care, business, technology, and culture.
Previously, Caroline was an on-air host and producer for HuffPost Live, the award-winning digital television network for HuffPost. Off-screen, CMT was a columnist for the Financial Times, and has contributed to VICE, HuffPost, Vanity Fair, The Daily Telegraph, Prospect Magazine, The Independent, i-D Magazine, and The Mail On Sunday.
Caroline has a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Columbia University’s School of Journalism, and graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English.
Caroline has hosted live special events for TBS/TNT, and has moderated panel discussions with newsmakers, politicians and celebrities for organizations including Women in the World, Brookings, New America, The Wing, and Omnicom. CMT also appears on national and international news programs (TV, radio, podcasts) providing political commentary and analysis.
